Menopause care runs on memory. It should run on a record.

Most of what happens in the transition happens at night, on your own, and is gone by morning. We built Unpause so that what you live through is still there when you need to explain it.

Why we built it

Manisha kept watching the same thing happen. Patients left with instructions they could not follow, and came back weeks later in crisis.

The gap was never knowledge. It was that nothing carried between one appointment and the next except what someone could remember under pressure, in seven minutes, months after the fact.

What you get

Everything here exists because something was missing.

Not a feature list. These are the eight things the platform actually does for you, tonight.

Ask anything, at any hour

Three in the morning is when the question turns up and when nobody is awake to ask. Type it and get a careful answer, without an account and without waiting.

Two minutes a night

Or say it out loud and we fill the form in for you.

Your own normal

Worked out from your nights, so every comparison after that is to you.

A word before the rough night

When your nights drift from where they usually sit, you hear about it that morning.

A summary every week

What moved, and what it moved alongside.

Monthly check-ins that clinics recognise

PHQ-9, GAD-7, ISI and the Menopause Rating Scale, scored the way a clinic scores them.

A page your doctor can actually read

Up to 60 days of your own nights on three pages: sleep charted against your average, night sweats by severity, your check-in answers month against month, and anything flagged.

And all of it stays yours

Every entry, summary and profile field, as a spreadsheet or a PDF, from your own account, whenever you want it. No request form, no waiting on us.

Who is building it

Two careers spent where medicine meets what ships.

How we work

Rigour you can actually check.

Four things we do, each of them specific enough that you could hold us to it.

Two people sign off before anything publishes

An editor and a clinician review every article before it goes up, and it is checked again on a schedule rather than left to age quietly.

The screeners belong to the clinic, not to us

Monthly check-ins use PHQ-9, GAD-7, ISI and the Menopause Rating Scale, scored the way a clinic scores them. Where scoring is not validated, we withhold the total rather than imply a band we cannot stand behind.

You are compared to you

Your normal is worked out from your own nights, so what counts as a bad night is yours. No population average wearing your name.

You can leave with all of it

Every entry, summary and profile field, as a spreadsheet or a PDF, from your own account, with no request form.

What changes

Five nights from now, you will know your normal.

Here is what is different once you have a record instead of a recollection.

You stop losing the thread

When someone asks how you have been, you have an answer, with dates on it, instead of a shrug and an apology.

You find out what is actually yours

Not what happens to the average woman of your age. What happens to you, on your nights, and what tends to come with it.

Appointments start further along

Your clinician spends the seven minutes on what to do next, rather than on reconstructing the last two months from memory.

You are not doing this from scratch each night

The 3 a.m. question gets an answer, and the answer knows what you logged last week.

Unpause organises what you report so you and your clinician can see it clearly. It is not a diagnosis and does not replace your clinician.
